Coach Alex Morrow
Coach Alex is the founder of Resolute Running and the creator of the Resolute Running Training Center. The idea to create a training center specifically for runners was born after Coach Alex watched a documentary about a day-in-the-life of an elite runner. The documentary highlighted the daily schedule of the athlete which looked something like this:
7:00 a.m. Wake up
7:30 a.m. Meet with coach and run
9:00 a.m. Eat breakfast per sports nutritionist guidelines
10:30 a.m. Work out with personal trainer
11:30 a.m. Massage
12:30 p.m. Eat lunch per sports nutritionist guidelines
1:00 p.m. Nap
3:00 p.m. Run
5:00 p.m. See physical therapist to work out any kinks
6:00 p.m. Eat dinner per sports nutritionist guidelines
In addition, as the runner's goal race approached, the athlete met with a sports psychologist to mentally prepare for the challenge ahead.
Coach Alex's personal training plan looked nothing like that! Whether he was training for a 5k or an ultra-marathon, his world consisted of working a full-time job and squeezing in his training runs around family obligations. Besides, who could afford a coach, personal trainer, massage therapist, sports nutritionist, and sports psychologist?
But the seed of an idea took hold and over the next two years Coach Alex put in place a comprehensive plan to make all of those services available to the average runner at a price point everyone could afford.
With the creation of the Resolute Running Training Center, you, too, can now be treated like an elite athlete.
