Coach Monica showers
"To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift” - Steve Prefontaine
Coach Monica grew up running and participating in every sport she possibly could, but slowed down through college and early adulthood.
She started running again in 2011 after baby #2 as a supplement to weight training, and to help get back in shape. In the years since that first run back, however, she has grown into an accomplished marathoner and ultramarathoner. She has run races from 5ks up to what is currently her longest race distance of 154.17 miles, and she has hopes to go even farther!
What started as a weight loss journey has transformed into a joyful passion. No matter if it’s roads or trails, a mile is a mile and having the ability to help others find their passion through running is an added benefit!
