Resolute Running is excited to partner with nationally known nutritionist Will Benitez, MScN, M.Ed, and On Pace Wellness to provide professional nutrition services. Whether you're a professional athlete, a local 5k hero, a weekend warrior, or the person cheering on the sidelines, your nutrition matters.
Some folks want to maintain fitness and stay healthy, others want to lose a few pounds, while many want to elevate their performance. Whatever your reason, our mission is to help you achieve your goals.

A Message From Will:
As your nutritionist, I take the time to learn about you, your experiences, and your current dietary patterns. I want to know your story. We will discuss your goals and/or concerns and work together to create a plan moving forward. Nutrition coaching is a process and I am here to help you make changes that are realistic and sustainable for you.
It's usually not as simple as, "Eat this, not that." You may have food allergies or sensitivities that need to be addressed, a history of injury that I don't want to ignore, or you may be experiencing sleep issues or other seemingly unrelated matters. As your nutritionist, I will address these issues to keep you healthy and to enhance your performance as an athlete.

That's okay. I am not exclusively a sports nutritionist and we also have another nutritionist on staff, Stevie Chaddock, MScN., that works with clients as well. Stevie specializes in women's health, gut health, hormone regulation, and autoimmune conditions. She and I are happy to discuss your concerns and goals and help you find a nutritional approach that optimizes your health and addresses your needs.

Initial Consultation – 60 mins – This includes an in-depth review of your completed intake form, goals, health history, nutritional habits, exercise, sleep, stress, lifestyle, and more.
Follow-up Sessions – 45 mins
Dietary Analysis – A professional review of detailed dietary logs (4-7 days) that are recorded by the client. A detailed analysis provides an accurate nutritional picture that can help to explain certain issues and guide the approach taken for optimizing your nutrition.
Weekly Nutrition Plans + Email Communication - These plans are the crux of the nutrition coaching process. Instead of dictating meals for you, we prefer to guide you on a weekly or bi-weekly basis by providing you with specific nutritional recommendations of foods and serving sizes to include throughout your day or week. This method has been shown to be more sustainable and effective long-term. Email communication is included so we can stay in touch about your progress. Follow-up sessions are recommended.

Will has a lot of knowledge, is caring, and very personable when I needed assistance in my nutrition. I injured my foot last season and didn’t know if I was going to compete at the Olympic Trials. I was also concerned with my blood work results. He provided me insight and reassurance that my blood levels can be managed. With his assistance, Will became a mentor in my nutrition which also helped my mental well-being. He checked in weekly making sure my foot pain decreased and if the food/vitamins he recommended helped my discomfort. I was able to race at the Olympic Trials with little discomfort. Currently, I am injury free and still working with Will. I am looking forward to dialing in all the positive changes and performing on top of my game with his guidance. I highly recommend Will!

As a professional soccer player, I had become aware of the significant impact that optimizing your diet can have on performance. I’m an ultra-runner and a PhD Candidate. I was seeking some external accountability and coaching guidance to support my training while completing my dissertation and Will has provided in dividends!! I’ve increased my overall speed and endurance through the training he has provided. Moreover, he provides flexibility that I could not receive from following a generic online training plan. Will is very responsive and helps make adjustments and modifications according to the time I have available and how my body responds to workouts.
